1950’s MARILYN MONROE Parade New York WHITE PIQUÉ GROMMET HALTER DRESS

Hard to Find Mid-Century Style, (Marilyn Monroe actually owned this same Parade New York labeled dress, also in white, as shown in the last photo). White Waffle Cotton Pique’ Sundress with most unique Criss-Cross Front Keyhole Halter Style Straps that Buckle at One Shoulder, Cross at the Rear and Buckle again at Front Waist. Label reads “Parade New York”, There is an All-Over silver metallic fleck in the Weave of this Fabric, rear metal zipper. Measures Chest-32-34″, Waist-24″, Length waist seam to hem-27 1/2″ with an additional inch to let down if needed. In Overall Very Good Condition, No holes/tears. The Neck Strap has considerable yellowing, and there are rust colored stains at the backside of the metal buckles on the interior side of the dress. A few other very faint minor spots intermittently, I have not attempted to bleach the dress to brighten. Sold in “as-is, estate-found” condition, priced accordingly.
